Very pretty, insecure backing - fell out in 24 hrs and earring lost forever

I only had it in for 24 hrs. The backing was not a fine jewelry backing and I should have never put it in before buying a better backing for it. It fell out of my ear and I didn’t notice so I only was able to wear it for a day. That being said it was very pretty and I wished I had listened to my gut when putting it in to wear when it arrived.
