First, let me say I love this company for the quality and style of the pieces, which are beautifully minimalist and elegant! The sapphire moon itself is gorgeous but surprisingly small in real life. I would not return it for this reason as I love smaller pieces, but it did catch me off guard at first.
Secondly, be prepared to buy a chain extender for it because although the chain is 16" to a T (as stated in description) many people may not realize just how short that actually is! For an average size neck, this is barely longer than a choker. In my opinion, for the price this chain should come with an extender attached or longer chain options because this will be an uncomfortable fit for most people.
For perspective, I urged my dad to buy the moon and I bought the Emerald Floating Necklace (pretty but also smaller than expected) so that my mom could rock a layered look, but both chains were so short on her that she had to go out of her way to buy chain extenders. Both necklaces are layered with others on the website, each hanging below the collar bone as the second or third longest chain on the model, but in real life these are more akin to the shortest chain in the photos (true for 3 of us who tried them on). Very misleading. I'm disappointed because these were expensive, and my mom ended up having to spend money to be able to wear her own Christmas gift. I would also like to add that I called the company and never heard back, which is why I am writing this review.
