In addition to the above, if you engage with STONE AND STRAND for in-person piercing services, we may collect the following information:

  • Limited information about allergies or other medical conditions potentially impacting the piercing procedure;
  • Photographs of Services (only after obtaining your consent);
  • Emergency contact name and phone number;
  • Data of birth (for confirmation of legal age for procedure)
  • Copy of photo ID.

Collection of User Generated Content

We may invite you to post content on the Service, including your comments and reviews, which may become public (“User Generated Content”). If you post User Generated Content, all of the information that you post will be available to authorized personnel of STONE AND STRAND. You expressly acknowledge and agree that we may access in real-time, share, record, and store archives of any User Generated Content on our servers to make use of them in connection with the Service. If you submit a review, recommendation, endorsement, or other User Generated Content through the Service, or through other websites including Facebook, Instagram, Google, Yelp, and other similar channels, we may share that review, recommendation, endorsement or content publicly on the Service.

Personal information relating to you and your order history are available to you through the website login if you provide the correct password that you created for your account. After providing your password, you can edit or delete your information at any time through the account page. In addition, if you do not wish to receive marketing materials from us and/or if you do not want us to share your personal information with other entities as stated in this Privacy Notice, please provide us with your exact name and address and advise us that you wish to opt-out of information sharing or receiving information from us or both as the case may be. In addition, every marketing email sent by STONE AND STRAND offers a link to unsubscribe from future communication.

STONE AND STRAND will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice. If we receive a CCPA request from you, we will first make a determination regarding the applicability of the law, and we will then take steps to verify your identity prior to responding. The steps to verify your identity may vary based on our relationship with you, but, at a minimum, it will take the form of confirming and matching the information submitted in the request with information already held by STONE AND STRAND and/or contacting you through previously used channels to confirm that you submitted the request (i.e. confirming identity through contact information that we have on file, not the contact information submitted to make the request).

 

Your rights as stated here can also be exercised by an authorized agent on your behalf. STONE AND STRAND will follow the standards set by the Attorney General of California regarding designation of an authorized agent to exercise rights under CCPA. You may review information available from the Attorney General regarding how an individual can be designated as an authorized agent under CCPA.

 

In addition to CCPA, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits users of the Website who are California residents to request certain information regarding its disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Third-Party Advertisers

We may allow other companies, called third-party ad servers or ad networks, to serve advertisements within the Service.
