What if I need to get a piece repaired?

We offer complimentary repairs for any manufacturing issues. Please note that our warranty applies only to items purchased from Stone & Strand and that individual stones are covered for a lifetime maximum of $2,000 per stone. Repairs will not be offered on items showing abnormal wear and tear or tampering. S&S Club Members receive complimentary shipping on all repairs.

How can I figure out what ring size to buy?

Give us a call and we can send you a ring sizing kit. Alternately, measure the diameter across the widest point of a ring that you currently wear and give us a call for the right size. We’re also happy to size you at S&S Tribeca if you’re in the neighborhood.

What cleaning options are available for my pieces?

We offer free cleaning on all Stone & Strand pieces. Current S&S Club VIPs get complimentary shipping or pickup for cleaning services for the lifetime of their pieces.

What if I need to get a piece resized?

We’d be happy to help where possible, including exchanging for a different size where available.  We offer this as a complimentary service within the first 100 days of purchase, or for current S&S Club VIP Members, for the life of the piece. Please note that the intricate design of some of our rings means resizing is not possible without compromising or damaging the design. Contact us to discuss your options.

Can I get a piece engraved?

Absolutely. Where allowed by the design, Stone & Strand offers a customized engraving service, all done by hand in New York.  Please type in what you want to get engraved in the Personalized section of the product page or alternatively, call or email us to discuss the personalization of any of our pieces. Please note that all custom and engraved pieces are Final Sale and non-refundable.

I lost an earring. Can I buy a single earring?

What a bummer! Let us know, and we can see if the designer has a single earring available to replace your missing one, and if so, we will only charge you for a half-pair.

Do you have a trained gemologist on staff?

We have partnerships with certified gemologists and are happy to arrange complimentary consultations. We also work with a board of industry experts for independent third party services such as appraisals.
